A fishing story.

So this is Jake. He is awesome and wonderful and witty and all the greatest things... and he loves to fish. LOVES. TO. FISH. 

I've spent some time documenting him fishing over the last year we've been dating. He has also taught me how to fly fish as well, which I have really grown to love. It's been a really fun thing for us to enjoy doing! Anyway... I hope you like these. They are all taken at various fishing spots in Utah. 

One of my favorite things about fishing with him is how he genuinely just loves to be outdoors. Whether it's fishing, hiking, or camping he loves it all. We've tried to get out to the mountains as much as we could this spring/summer!

For those that care about the technical side of these images... they are all shot on Portra 160 or Portra 400 and scanned by Indie Film Lab.

Some of these have been at the same lakes over and over again, but each time is so different.
