Jake cooking

One of my favorite things about Jake is his cooking. He is so creative and just understands how flavors work. Most everything he makes us he does from scratch and experiments using difference spices, seasonings, cheeses… etc. I love when we both have the night off and get to spend time together talking (and definitely drinking wine) while he cooks. There’s a special bond that’s created by food and I’m happy we get to share that. I took these photos of him really quickly one evening with portra 400 to see how well it would capture everything in the dark winter evenings and I really love how they turned out. There’s a feeling to them.
