Colten + Sierra | Sand Dunes Engagements

Sitting on this snowy day and reminiscing over one of my favorite sessions last year - not just because it happens to be of my cousin and his badass fiancé, but also because it was such a beautiful, inspiring, energetic day! We drove out to the dunes, and while it may be a new trendy spot in Utah, our family has actually spent many years out here. So while others may only venture 50 feet onto the sand, we road out into the middle and had the whole place to ourselves.

Colten is one of my most favorite cousins - we grew up five minutes from each other and spent nearly every weekend, holiday, and summer together. I have so many memories of riding four wheelers, making “bow & arrows”, pretend hunting in the fields behind his house, and begging my dad to let me play with the boys.

And then there’s Sierra - she’s a badass little firecracker with a bold personality and style that has helped me fit in more with my family. I adore her effortless image and admire her drive to build a life she is proud of.

I can’t wait until their wedding, even if they secretly steal our spot ;)
